Jake von Waldhaus is the most adorable Border Collie mix. He is around 9 months old; he is 31 pounds, but needs to gain weight. We think he will probably be around 45 pounds when full grown. He is very agile and light on his feet. He is calm and quiet in the kennel, we are sure once he is in a home he will be a happier more energetic fellow. Jake walks well on a leash and stays right by your side. Border Collies are known for how smart they are, what could be better than a Border Collie with a touch of German Shepherd possibly. Jake is great with other dogs, we introduced him to some cats. He certainly passed their test, they just wanted to rub up against him and he wanted to eat their food. Jake seems like the perfect dog for a family who wants something smaller than a pure German Shepherd! Jake is going to make the most wonderful companion for someone!
